The Boardroom
The newly completed boardroom at The Willis-James is a great option for those groups looking for a small meeting space or private dining room. Located in the carriage house on the grounds of The Willis-James, the 490 square foot space is set to seat 14 individuals comfortably. This boardroom is private and provides natural light with doors and windows looking onto the lawn and garden areas. Elements of nature surround this space including live plants and natural tones and accents. Amenities include a 70” flat-screen television for projection, dedicated wireless network, a kitchenette for food & beverage services, white board and private bathroom. Our friendly staff is available to assist with any additional solutions you may need, and catering is available so you can focus on having your best meeting and event. The Boardroom is available for hourly, half-day, or full-day bookings.
Formal Dining Room

Owners of 58 W. 5th St. have been hosting gatherings in this dining room since the late 1800s. A great space for intimate dinners and receptions, the live edge walnut table seats twelve (12). Through the double doors is the orangerie and outdoor deck, covered in part by the large cucumber magnolia tree dating back to the 1860’s. These spaces add an inviting and warm atmosphere for guests to enjoy more private conversations and to enjoy one another’s company. A bathroom is located in the Butler’s Pantry just off the dining room.
Library and Parlor
Combined 700 sq ft
In addition to the Boardroom and private dining room, the parlor and library are great spaces for receptions, cocktail parties, and group break-out sessions. These rooms are in the front of the home, within the 1830’s section, and highlight its architecture including pocket doors, mantels, and the sandstone entryway in the foyer dating back to 1815. Cozy seating arrangements and open spaces spread throughout the two rooms can be complimented by high top tables and a small bar. Depending on the type of event, this space can accommodate up to 30 people. The bathroom is in the Butler’s Pantry through the dining room.
